The 2025-26 NFL season officially heads to the playoffs and the Eagles sit as the #3 seed. Steve checks in with some optimistic thoughts after a somewhat frustrating loss to the Washington Commanders to end the regular season, and looks ahead to the Eagles opponent in the wild card round, a re-match of the 2022-23 NFC Championship Game with the San Francisco 49ers. There were also a few noteworthy happenings in the 48 hours since last pod, plus a "Dry January Approved" beer of the show!

It's no secret that Steve is a huge hockey fan. You wouldn't believe how often he hears the name Scott Hartnell in Pittsburgh, more than 11 years since he was traded away from their cross-state rivals, the Philadelphia Flyers. It's safe to say he's STILL the most hated athlete in Pittsburgh. Steve has some nostalgic thoughts about Hartnell's glory days in the orange and black, plus some check-ins and things to be thankful for (remember, Thanksgiving was just last week) in the Philly sports universe.
